Who This Site Is For

Free Business Forms Hub is built for the person who is running a business and doing the administration themselves — the freelance designer sending a first invoice, the tradesperson who needs a QR code on a van, the consultant assembling a speaker bio the night before a conference. That person does not need an accounting platform with a monthly fee and an onboarding call. They need one document, correctly formatted, in the next ten minutes.

That is the entire scope of what we build. We are not trying to become your accounting system, your CRM, or your project tracker. There are good products in all of those categories and most of them will serve you better than a browser tool ever could. What we do is the narrow set of one-off documents that sit between doing the work and getting paid for it.

Why Everything Runs in Your Browser

Every tool here is written in JavaScript that executes on your own device. When you type a client's name into the invoice generator, that name is held in your browser's memory and nowhere else. It is not transmitted to us, because there is no endpoint to transmit it to. When you close the tab, it is gone.

This is a deliberate architectural choice rather than a marketing position, and it has real trade-offs we should be honest about. Because we store nothing, we cannot offer saved templates, client histories, or the ability to pick up an invoice on a different device. Those are genuine conveniences and we do not have them. What we get in exchange is that a data breach on our side cannot expose your client list, because we never held it. For a tool people use to handle other people's billing details, we think that is the correct trade.

How the Site Is Funded

The tools are free and have no usage limits, no watermarks, and no account requirement. The site is supported by display advertising and by affiliate links on a small number of recommendation pages, where we may earn a commission if you buy something after following a link. That commission never changes your price.

We keep those two things separated from the tools themselves. An advertiser cannot pay to change what our invoice generator produces, and no affiliate relationship determines what our guides say. Where we recommend a product, it is because it is genuinely the sort of thing the reader was already looking for — and where we have no useful recommendation to make, we make none.

How Our Guides Are Written

The guides on this site are written to be practically useful to someone who has to act today, not to rank for a search term. That means they are specific, they include the parts that are inconvenient, and they say plainly when something depends on your jurisdiction or your particular circumstances.

They are general business information, not legal, tax, or accounting advice. Invoicing requirements, tax registration thresholds, and record-keeping obligations vary considerably between countries and between states, and they change. Where a decision carries real consequences — how to register a business, what you are obliged to charge and remit, how long to keep records — check the requirements that apply where you actually operate, and speak to a qualified professional. We would rather tell you that than pretend a web page can answer it.
